Aldeburgh

A chum just got back from the family jaunt in and out the rivers. He was captivated by the boatyard at Aldeburgh ( Upsons ?). I asked if it had puddles and a dog - he said it did.
Not many proper boatyards like that now: Iron Wharf was like that but not been there for ages; Paglesham ; Hoo marina under Colin Ryan was a classic but quite different now in everyway. Anywhere else like that?

Now I lay up at Robertson's in Woodbridge, similar yard, similar skills, excellent service, brilliant!

Everson's and Melton Boat Yard are also in the same category.
