Alde gas bubble leak detector

I did an order to ASAP earlier today and forgot to get a sachet of the fluid used in the detector to top it up.
Anybody know what the fluid is and whether it is available locally?

A different thing, it would be no good in the OP's bubble tester.

Plenty of Alde fluid available, you just have to bight the bullet and pay for it. Some chandlers and caraven/RV shops may stock it.

ASAP also sell the fluid sachet separately which is what I need (it gradually disappears)

I’ve had one for about nearly 20yrs- got a spare sachet with it- not needed it yet!
