alco hub replacement

Hi, i need to replace a braked alco hub for my yard trailer
we have long since removed the brakes as they rust and lock up

can i fit a non braked hub instead, lower cost

and leave the other 3 wheels on braked hubs ?

Why?
It's for yard use so not on the open road, the main requirement is to support the wheel so it can move, can be as canabalised as you want surely?

Why change the hub? You have removed the brakes. I have recently done just that on a trailer. The bearings cost £24-00 & I had to buy some new bolts for the wheels, as the old ones had severely rusted. I also had to purchase a tap £ 6-00 plus postage from Tracy tools to clean the threads for the bolts. Once tidied up it all worked OK.
If you are really worried, change the opposing hub on the other side so you have 2 braked & 2 non braked.
