Hi Alan,

ran into a chap called Dennis while I was out & about yesterday. Said he packed you off from the Azores last year having fed & watered you the previous evening. I knew he was pulling an April fool when he told me you were a little inebriated when you left. As I know you're teetotal I knew that couldn't be right!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Said you were to give him a ring if you fancied going out for a meal in the near future.

Ian,
Mailbox now emptied - am I the only one who keeps messages thinking I will read them again then never do ?. I remember spending a very pleasant evening with Dennis and Bill Churchouse in Terceira the night before the return leg, and being very grateful for the fact that I was heading out into the blue yonder with nothing in sight for miles so I could get a bit extra sleep in to get over the night before. I remember thinking "pointless" when realising it was getting late and I should try and make an early exit to get some kip in. Dennis had alreday pulled out the whisky.....
