Ais chartplotter compatability

Tried contacting Cobra but nothing back yet, does anyone know if the Nasa AIS engine is compatable with the Cobra MC600ci chart plotter, the requirments for the Nasa are NMEA 0183HS input at 38,400 baud is required to accept the VDM AIS strings corresponding to ITU-1371.
The Chart plotter uses NMEA 0183 in and out, thats all Ihave been able to find out, I have cmap nt max charts

Hiya, you have to enable high speed input on the plotter and I am not sure if you can on the Cobra. A quick glance at the destructions should tell you how to, if you can.

They're not compatible. The Cobra MC600Ci doesn't display AIS data.
