Not so long ago I fitted Raymarine AIS 650 connected to my e7 MFD.
When travelling in company with another boat (also fitted with AIS650) the proximity alarm sounds, as might be expected . I have added the other boat to the 'buddy list' . However the proximity alarm continues to sound each time the other boat moves out/into the selected range for the alarm.
I switched the audible alarm off is it was a nuisance .
I feel there should be a way to disable the audible alarm for boats on the 'buddy list' while leaving the alarm active for any other targets.
Any offers on how to do this would be gratefully received ?
