Anyone have any experience with this product. No moving parts speed and includes temp and depth. I can't seem to track down recent information and it is not selectable on the Airmar US site. Seems to have good reviews in 2009 but one post seems to suggest it was withdrawn. If so why? It is available on the JGTech website at £399 and seems very good value compared to the ultrasoinc CS4500 at £599 and seems to be a direct replacement for my current Airmar paddle wheel.
Any knowledge/advice welcome
Thanks
Clive

Looks like I can answer my own question via JGTech answering email at 21.00. Beyond the call of duty. It was never released!!!
Shame. Will have to use the CS4500 and replace the skin fitting.

I have been in communication several times with Airmar directly on this one. Last time was just before Christmas.

My understanding is that it is planned for Q3 2011 and will be NMEA 2000 compatible.

I am going to hold on in hope. I am fed up with paddle wheels. I have their combined depth, temperature unit with the paddlewheel. Data flows nicely on N2k but the wheel is so archaic.

Amazing you can have a product launch, review it in magazines and the end game is as follows...

Quote form Airmar received today
"Thank you for contacting Airmar Technology. Airmar has decided not to introduce that product. "
