MY 2.3m inflatable dingy's air-floor has had it. Can I replace it with a cut to size peice of plywood?

Is that going to work okay?

Better than nothing but most would say only just especially those that had old Avons. If you do it paint or varnish well epoxy the edges and at the very least round them over or put on a length of slit tubing so that it doesn't chafe and wear the fabric of the inflatable.

My Avon air floor died. I looked at buying new from Ron Hale but the cost was ridiculous, about £600. So I bought a sheet of 40mm thick closed cell foam and cut it to shape. It’s a pretty effective substitute for the old air floor and has been in use for five seasons now, a recommended solution.

How big is it? I have one here that is just taking up space, you can have it for the postage if it is a suitable size. Guess I could inflate it and measure for you….
