Any Bray or Windsor moored people will be well aware of the constant grime which seems to afflict Boats whilst parked up, and it's not exactly a wipe off residue either!

We think it's Aircraft pollution, as there are more than a few in the vicinity...

After having No Regrets polished earlier this year, I applied a car paint protection product called Stargard (Also known as the non Mercedes branded version 'Supagard')

Now you read mixed reviews on this stuff on the internet, and for good reason! Many Polish valeters employed by cheapskate valeting companies, the sort used by the large PLC's, don't apply this product properly, and it consequently fails to impress.

Also, car paint is pretty good, and cars are a doddle to wash anyway, unlike a 30 foot plus Boat!

Anyway, I digress as usual...

Now, three months after application, the grime just doesn't seem to happen any more! Any **** on the topsides just washes away with no detergent, and black streak are reduced to almost nothing.
The GRP shines like new, and hasn't lost it's lustre, unlike previous efforts.

So, don't pay dealer prices, get online, and get some Supagard on Ebay. You only need the sponge applicator, the rest is handy for your car or boat upholstry, but the paint sealant is the only bit you want. It's a pathetically small sponge thing with yellow pus inside, you prick the yellow side, moisten it and wipe it on to the (previously cleaned) boat. A sponge did my 30 footer easily.

IMPORTANT: (This is where the valeters fail...) leave it to soak in for at least an hour and a half. The residue dusts off with almost no effort, and the result is a glassy shine which lasts for a lot longer than polish.

Better still, get the bottle of yellow paint sealant, it'll do a 50 footer!

Any questions? :)

Our Spiders use toilet paper.

It ISBbray, after all.... :)

Everything seems to simply fall off or wipe off! Before, I was always polishing or using streak remover!
