Just arrived in port have been parked next to a boat with one of those noisy air-breeze wind generators. The owner appears to have gone to sleep and left it running and it is very irritating.

Now I have nothing against wind generators - I have a Rutland 913 myself - but owners of those wretched Air-breeze things need to learn to be more considerate.

Should I wake him up and ask him to turn it off? Just clamber on his boat and turn it off myself? I think that as he has been so rude and inconsiderate to leave it running in a marina I can take a liberty myself.

rant over

.....and he probably has a noisy bow thruster and noisy Fw pump that annoys you too but hey ho live and let live cos I bet your pettyness annoys him a bit too .
My neighbour has a 913 and I can hear that whirling away at night and at certain times of the day the sun shines through the blades creating a kind of strobe effect in the cabin if the doors are open but as I said live and let live .......or move ........or get ear plugs . There are a lot more annoying thing like neighbours having the wrong type anchor etc .
