I have always enjoyed Jimis posts but, having never met him, dont know what he looks like. I have had a picture form in my mind though of a cross between Captain Birdseye and possibly Benny Hill. Am I close?
i have a very recent photograph of him modelling the latest YM headgear in gusty conditions which looks like a reclining sheep with its front feet over its ears ...
Acshully I see myself more as a Captain Sparrow figure. I have the silk scarf etc although my daughters claim it has more of a Mrs Doubtfire look .. but I'm sure the wee bizzums are jist being spiteful cos their pocket money wiz docked tae pay for an electronic barometer for their safety.

Jimmi dont look any rougher than any other jock I know up here!!! I guess it is a combination of the fresh mountain air, inclement weather, loveable sheep (with the correct wellies) and of course a drop of the amber nectar. Of course I guess his time spent around the Solent has caused his downfall. As for you Jimi where do you hail from north of the border???
Kilmarnock.. I know Troon well .. or I used to. Cycled over Dundonald Hill as a lad to the harbour. Mispent many youthful days in the hostelries around there.

And not a finer view will you see from the top. Guess things have changed a little since those days but to be honest not too much, guess you miss the fine waters of the Clyde, just back from 2 weeks around the Solent and even in December you could walk across it on the deck of boats!!! Mind you one thing was good...the pints of Tanglefoot consumed in the Rising Sun at Warsach. If your ever this way Jimi look me up and a pint or two will be forth coming.
..when I close the message window? The last glimpse I get is where tweety stops flapping his wings and assumes a worried expression, as if he's forgotten how to fly and is about to plummet to the ground a hundred feet below. Then it goes back to the index and I am left worried.
