Greetings all- I'm seeking information on my OM Watts cutter Aimee Leone, O.N. 163084. As mentioned on another thread she is the sister ship of Merlin, owned by Lord Stanley and later by Dr. Andrews. They were built in 1934 at the Philip & Son yard in Dartmouth. Aimee's first owner was a Mr. R. Chetwode. I'm not certain when she passed from British to U.S. registry.
I'd also like to get in touch with the current owner of Merlin, which is reportedly now located in Brisbane, Australia. I don't know whether she was purchased by "fionab", she's apparently no longer active on this forum.
I am pursuing the "Sea Peace" and Rcc Roving Commissions #13 leads for information on Merlin. Is there anything similar on Aimee Leone?
