Ah, why didn't I think of that invention!

What happens when it gets a bit rough and it snaps?? I had big steel springs in Malta, and even they werent always up to the job.

Or am I missing something?

Always somebody wanting to pull apart a brilliant idea, just use it as they state and put a warp with it!! Jeeze!

Saw the wave pump at the boat show and liked the idea but not the thought of pulling it out and throwing it in a locker everytime, this is much neater, smaller and won't get covered in yuk!

Excellent idea!

I need something like that but mines in a lake slip, very calm water not much movement at all.
Was thinking about getting a solar panel for the battery which the bilge pump drains when the float switch is activated (I have a very slow leak somewhere)

Only one problem and that is you can't use it when the temp falls below zero (according to the specs). Not sure whether that means the pump case will crack if water freezes inside it but if it does, that means a trip to the marina to drain the unit every time it looks like freezing which is a PITA

Wouldnt be too difficult to insulate it, although the pipe might be a bit challenging.
Plus of course its pumping seawater, they may be thinking of its use in lakes and the baltic.
