I am having some boost issues on my VP AD41 and one of the things I am going to do is to clean the aftercooler. I will clean the water side with a rydlyme solution, but how should I clean the air side. The fins are thin aluminium, I believe, and I am expecting them to have a bit of an oily residue from leaking turbo oil seals. I am thinking of using some detergent and a pressure washer. Is this the right way? Cheers

Brake cleaner

Pressure washer will bend the fins

I’d maybe check the turbo itself. If you haven’t already. Send it off to AET turbos before it gets beyond the point of being cheap refurbished
