I am going to replace the coil and control module for a Volvo 5.7Gi-B has anyone ever bought the after market ones ? or should i stick with OEM?

You can be sure that even the "OEM" ones are not actually made by VP .
Keypart have Delco replacements. Delco are a well known name

Some say volvo parts are even more than yanmar so anything that is a realistic price has to be good? You pay a LOT more when parts come in the engine brands own packaging.
