after deck shower leak advice ATTWOOD 4132

a certain part of teak on after deck was always wet so, i had been investigating on that and finally found out the cause of the leak. But i have no idea how to fix it. Has anyone have a similar problem before and know how to fix it? do you have to replace the whole thing?
any advice will be helpeful. thanks a lot!

It's the packing gland on the tap, pop of the blue cover there should be a screw holding the plastic tap top on ,undue the screw pull off tap top, if there's a nut on spline it can be repacked if not you need a new insert or tap

yes i was able to disassemble thanks!! it was under the sticker thing.. and the rest of your advice, i am not too sure i undersand precisely, could you break it down a bit more for a freshman?

thanks you so much. I decided to replace the whole thing, some plastic component seems broken, i suppose it does not make much of different replacing it all. thanks for letting me know how to dissemble, because of that, at least i could stop the leak!
