Got the boat back in the water last week after 17 months ashore.

Needed to dry the decks for the Coelan treatment and then one thing led to another as happens.

Went for the Sikkens Novatech/Novatop on masts and deckhouse following good reports on here and in CB.

Had used Deks Olje for years but it did not weather very well.

Used Jotun on topsides and anti-foul and Epifanes on shearstrake.

A few more fit out jobs then roll on summer and West Cork.

Thanks Chris.
I am happy to have her back in the water.
There were some jobs that had been on the long finger but most have been done now.
She was stored in a farm building about 1.5 miles from the harbour and the trip down was nerve wracking.
Here are a few before and after pics of the deck.

How do you attach the photos in the larger format? I don't fancy more logins, registers and passwords!

Very nice and well done, I hope you have a great summer on her !

Have you got antislip in the Coelan? I have Coelan decks on Athaena and the previous owner said they were pretty lethal when wet until he added some antislip patches.

If you have a larger image stored on the web somewhere you can post it here by clicking on the little square yellow button with mountains on it in the post toolbar and pasting a link to your image in the box that pops up. Watch out that the image isn't too big though!! ;)

I may put the anti-slip on later but I want to see how I get on with the coating and how it performs this season.

Don't usually go out on deck when it's wet anyway.:D:D
