Aerial Splitter

Does anyone have any experiences with FM/VHF Sowester aerial splitters?

I fitted one earlier this year to my boat and now I’m not so sure that it is affecting my VHF.

Any ideas

Fitted one a couple of years ago, and haven't noticed any difference as far as the VHF is concerned.

If you are getting problems, double check the connectors on the cable, as these are a favourite source of problems. If that doesn't do it, try borrowing a SWR meter & check the sort of figures you are getting with & without the aerial splitter. You may find that your aerial (or more accurately, the cable up the mast is getting a bit tired)

Bought one this year and it works fine on AM, FM and VHF.
