Nice surprise, a friend just emailed me these... of course rather than a fancy quadcopter, he just used a ferry.
Nice looking boat - I would expect no less!
I love work boats.I have a Cheetah 25' cat at the moment and I was toying with the idea of a Mitchell, Aquastar, Safehaven etc...
How does it compare to your old Orkney?
thanks,
but never had an Orkney, had a Hardy Mariner 26, and previously to that a Merry Fisher 625. It is slower than the Hardy, we cruise around 11 knots (WOT 16knts), have not been out in any real rough stuff but certainly been through some lumpy water and very pleased, the extra length weight and true semi displacement hull makes a marked difference to the Hardy & she is so smooth & far easier to move around on the go & at that speed she is more economical than my Hardy.
Do you have full standing headroom in the forward cabin?
FF625 is only 4ft 6" in his cuban heels so plenty of head room.
Nice pics James, the aerial shots show the proper dimensions of the boat, beam etc. I imagined the boat to more narrow in the beam until seeing these.
