A mate of mine has to get rid of this boat. His memory is even worse than mine and he can't remember the designer, size, engine make, etc. The fibreglass hull is solid but the engine will need serious work done plus all the cockpit area.

Any idea how much he should ask for it?

i have to agree. certainly no more than £100 but probably a lot less.
good project though and a lot easier than the wooden boats you have restored.

No it should only cost him about £50 to have that taken away, for £100 he could get the skip to put it in!

That's what I thought too. I've put it on the For Sale forum. If he gets a few beers out of it and someone gets a nice project, he'll be happy.

I don't believe him, but he says he wished he'd taken it on as a project instead of this.

I think the navy would refer to it as a small target /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Good luck to your friend in all his endeavours.
