Afternnon all, newbie here,
I’m after a small motorboat up to about 18’ complete with trailer. The important thing is that I can get into the inside of the outer hull skin. I thought I had found a suitable candidate on a well known auction site, but it turned out the hull was foam filled with no access to the inside of the outer hull. Can anyone help point me in the right direction with manufacturers? Budget is 2 to 3K, ideally it would be ready to go with outboard and up to 20 knots.( I realise it will be an old boat) Its for testing a new type of speed transducer.
Ta in advance for any advice.

Instead of looking at fast fishers of that size which generally do have inbuilt buoyancy, try looking for a traditional bow rider / speed boat, particularly one with an inboard engine for access to the outer skin . You should be able to find one in that price range.
