Advice ...Rochester Cruisng Club member has

99% bought boat from Penton H.
Any reason why boat cannot be taken down to Teddington and then back to civilisation during December or January ?

No , unless the river is really wild.

If it is not licenced , you will need to pick up a Section 9 licence from Chertsey as you transit , or failing that from us at Tedders before you leave.

Molesey Lock is due ( possibly ) to have a chamber refurb starting on 7th Jan so make sure you are through before then.

Cheers Howard.Will get prospective owner to check if boat has current licence and if not,that it needs one to exit The Thames.
If all goes to plan will be bringing boat back round with him.
