The current sidebar adverts are idiotically obscuring the forum controls and the left of the top few posts on my Mac when using Safari.

[edit - seems to be only the intercontinental ad]

The user quick fix is to reduce the size of the application window then they revert to being a top banner and a now functional side bar banner for a different advertiser, but it would be nice if the webmaster could address it please.

Forumite DaveRo has written some good userstyles for this site - I use his "compact page view" and it gets rid of side columns. With an adblocker as well (I use uBlock), the site is very usable.

Same problem for me, installed Adblocker and fixed immediately, cost me a tenner, worth it all day long.
