Advanced Tide Tables

Try here for a free harmonics of the world, including Portsmouth. There may be some minor variations on the almanac, but it is certainly useable data.

Try GOOGLE on

WXTide

This is a wide ranging tide program - try and get the older WXtide26 rather than latest - as UKHO copyright crippled later versions ....

There is always the Belfield Tide Plotter program .... tenner in a chandlers / nautical book-store.

There are various pc based tide programs .... I even have one on my Palm .... Tide Tool 2.2 .... available at :

www.toolworks.com/bilofsky/tidetool

All can print of tables / daily, weekly monthly etc. as you want .... display tide graphs etc.

Almanacs are great and do not need electric - but once a PC / Palm tide plot has been used - you see a different ball game !!
