Adobe Photoshop Elements 11

Adobe PE users are now being invited to upgrade to v11. Does anyone know if they've sorted the bugs that they inserted into v10? IE, the ones that started creating folders with the US datal system (yyyy dd mm), which, unlike previous versions, did not have a European option?

The v10 glitches were not catastrophic, but more than a bit annoying when previous years of photographs (including digitised 35mm and 120 format) had been sorted into logical yyy mm dd order. Can's understand why Americans prefer such a barmy system, especially in the age of computers when it's so easy to preface document titles with a (yy)yymmdd datal system. Doesn't half help with searches.

The Royal Navy persuaded the USN to use date/time groups as identifying signal traffic.
Making Uncle Sam see sense requires confrontation almost to battle level, but one gets there inthe end.
I find the British media use of 9/11 to describe a tragedy to be irritating but it's their tragedy so I let it go. Together with expressions such as 'meet with', 'outside of' and the misuse of the word 'presently'

I still use PE 4, should I consider an upgrade?

I still use PE9 but recently when I clicked on the offering to upgrade to Adobe Flash Player 11 I started getting an incompatible video driver message from Adobe and PE9 stopped working. It took me a day to sort it out.

Nope - stick with it!



Some of the later versions had improvements (7 or 8 was my last version) was pretty good, but I regret upgrading to 10.

PeterR's comments are a bit disturbing. Maybe I'll stick with what I've got, despite the irritating issues.......

PE9 is very satisfactory. I won't upgrade
