For anyone stopping at Queenborough I happened to try this place on an annual visit to see family in Kent over Christmas. Very good selection of Real Ales (generally locally sourced from Micro Breweries), Ciders and Gins, I can only tell you about the ales which were very good, the welcome was warm.

Queenborough Harbour Newsletter prompted me to post I had tried the establishment with a thumbs up from me. According to QHT the Flying Dutchman has also been refurbed if you are looking for food.

Thanks for that, have always found the pub scene in Queenborough lacking, so good news as we are both keen (bit too keen) fans of real ale, so will be on our radar.

Interesting, might get up there this weekend before the lock closes at Chatham MDL.

We've been running regular monthly social gatherings to Queenborough for the last couple of years from MYC, the Queen Phillippa hotel at the top of the High Street has been good for us on the catering front and worth a visit.

Agree re Queen Phillippa I stayed there, very friendly we'll run place. We were out for a family Meal elsewhere so did not sample the evening menu but the food looked very good. Only place I have ever stayed where for breakfast having ordered a full English to help recover from The Admirals Arms ales I was asked how I would like my fried egg, bacon and Sausage cooked, for Steak every time but never at breakfast for all three. Gets great Trip Advisor reviews.
