My mate has a Southerly where the stainless steel sink surround surface is glued to the GRP work surface above. What does the panel recommend for the purpose?

The sink supplier says it really needs battens to support it, but that's the way Southerly did it!

Many thanks in advance.

Sikaflex 291, or 292?, with the correct preparation and priming of both surfaces ? See the Sikaflex Marine Handbook for details

Dont bother with Sika products, B&Q or any local Builders Merchant will supply you with a tube of ' Gripfil ' for less than a fiver. This stuff really works, well enough to bond a handbasin to a wall without a plinth or stick just about anything dry to anything else dry.

Only question is, will you ever want to get it apart again ? ( Don't worry, once it goes off it is pretty impervious to just about anything...)
