Adhesive for rubber rubbing strake

A mate has a 1983 LM 32 where the rubber 'fendering' (rubbing strake) is parting from the hull.

Sikaflex have said they have nothing which will bond this rubber to GRP.

I thought about whether Polymarine may be able to advise.

Any other comments?

I've always screwed it on.

I fitted mine with Sikaflex but made sure to use Sika primer first - seems to be bonded very firmly

I used the two-part stuff at the bottom of this page: http://www.sealsdirect.co.uk/shopping.asp?intDepartmentId=7 to stick the rubber seal for my cockpit locker onto GRP. It's not been there long-term yet, but it seems pretty convincing. It is sold specifically for rubber, unlike some other suggestions.
