I've just spent a frustrating hour trawling through the instruction CD for my, new to me, Raymarine C series widescreen plotter.

It does not, (well, I can't find it) tell you how to save a waypoint to a list.

It tells you how to use one from a 'list', how to make one with a cursor etc., but it does not tell you how to save it once you've done this. In other words how to 'make' a list. How to edit one, but not how to save one in the first place!!

I have all the waypoints from my previous Standard Horizon plotter and want to input these into the Raymarine. Manually, if necessary.

The book/Cd is no help (not for the first time) I find the manuals very, very frustrating.

Any clues as to how to make a waypoint list?

But how did you input it, in the first place? That's what I can't see in the instructions

If I want to list them as I did before, same reference numbers etc, can I?

I find one of the pleasures of using a plotter is not having to bother with waypoint lists or details any more. To me, they are just little crosses on a chart, with the odd skull and cross-bones. I deal with routes similarly, though the plotter makes a list of them.

On the new C series it is Waypoint -> Waypoint and Group Options -> View Group list which then allows you to add, remove or edit the waypoint groups

IIRC it should be something similar for your plotter.

Confirmed by Raymarine.

It is under "using waypoint at known position". Follow instruction and use soft keys thereafter.
