AD41P Oil filter change

So, here's the thing. Drained the oil yesterday, good old Pela pump, then couldn't move the filter, even with a chain wrench.
I was running out of time, so refilled, ran for leak check and level check, then called it a day.
Question: Is there a problem removing (somehow) the filter with the system full? Logic says it wil be OK, filter well above the sump, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

It will be fine. It's less messy to remove when the engine / oil is cold.

You need to remember to top up the oil once the new filter is fitted.
