Hi all,
Has anyone experienced a leaky aftercooler insert and had a successful repair carried out on the insert? The eye-watering price of a new one has prompted me to seek an alternative approach. The leak appears to be around the base of the insert where what appears to be a brass protrusion with a bolt in the end. I see water collecting where the rubber ring covers, so think it's not the bolt.
This has obviously been going on for some time as it has rotted my starter motor away beyond economical repair. So I'll be loooking for a starter motor as well
Thanks for any thoughts you may have.
