AD31P-A impellor kit

Hi, Just replaced my impellors and notice a small rubber disc approx size of a 10p piece in the replacement kit. Cant remember taking any out when I removed the old impellors. Anyone tell me where they go please?

I have AD31Ps and have never fitted the rubber disc..... As there were several versions of AD31 and the kit fits loads of different engines, I've thought that it must be used on a different engine/design of pump.

No doubt somebody who knows the true answer will be along shortly.

Should fit in the hole in the end of the impeller [end of shaft]

Thanks for the info. I guessed they probably fitted a different version. There is no hole in the end of the shaft for a seal/disc. Unless I hear diffrent,I will put it back as I found it Cheers,Norman.
