I have 2 x AD31 (130bhp). Recently I have noticed a lack of power from the starboard engine. Had flat sea today so was able to test each engine separately. Port could get boat almost on plane with turbo whine quite evident but starboard could not achieve much more than 2,000 RPM and no whine. Props are all new so don't think that's an issue. Starboard turbo is a little stiff to spin when accessed by hand via the air intake. Any suggestions?

Suspect the solenoid valve fitted to the linkage that operates the exhaust flap is stuck, or the flap is jammed closed on the exhaust riser.Disconnect and wire open the flap on the elbow and try again. The flap is fitted in the elbow on outlet side of the exhaust.

I had this problem on mine the first time out this season, neither engine would get over 1800rpm. Both turbos were stuck, the starboard one I managed to free through the air intake, the port one I had to take the exhaust riser elbow off spray some wd40 and work free with a socket on the nut.
However I have yet to sea trial it to see if it works!!
