Active Corrosion Protection

Does anyone have experience of these systems? In particular I am wondering how much current draw? If shore power is not available how much drain on the battery since they must be on continuously. Would a small solar panel compensate?

I have one. Mercruiser ICCP - Mercathode. It uses hardly anything. A solar panel easily keeps up with it.
