Hi All
I'm trying to reprogram an NGW-1 but having no luck with my serial to USB adaptor.
Does anyone close(ish) to Shotley have a USG I could borrow for an hour or so?
Thanks
David

I have a USB to NMEA adaptor here, you could have borrowed. Pretty sure i mentioned that ?

Hi Paul, yes you did, but it's the specific Actisense USB to RS232 interface I needed.
Turned out we had a spare USB to 232 in the office that I had forgotten I'd ordered about 6 months ago

Edit..
hang on... USB to NMEA is pretty much a USB to 232 anyway isn't it? DOH !

Indeed. I use it to see what data is being passed by a device. Doesn't get so much use now, but still handy to have. Also works well for getting data to a laptop for OpenCPN, for instance.
