Acrylic or polycarbonate for windows?

Thoughts on acrylic vs. polycarbonate please. Scratch resistance, ease of working/drilling etc. We don't plan to do much heavy weather sailing so strength isn't too much of an issue.

One is poured, the other is squeezed! I think most window acrylic would be cast.

I got some from Amari plastics, I don't remember exactly what it was they recommended but definitely cast, it cut and drilled fine for my side windows

I believe polycarbonate is very much stronger, but scratches more easily than acrylic.

p.s. I've also read somewhere that certain common polishes can cause surface crazing if used on acrylic, but I can't remember which ones.
