Not sure if I am allowed this or even if I am in the right place, but anyway I am sure someone will pull me up if so.

Nautical empire is growing like the hole in the ozone /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif and as such staffing levels at this years SIBS will be a big step up from last which means the Co's poor little apartment at Ocean Village will be bursting at the seams along with the temp hired help up in a hotel.

Being of gentle disposition Nautical and Mrs Nautical don't want to rough it with the lower ranks at the apartment and were wondering if anyone has a nice little place, house/cottage/apartment they would would rent to us for the month nearby, we hate hotels for the longer shows and like the comfort of being at home (er well some one else's anyway /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif). We are very clean and almost house trained and willing to part with oh lets say a tenner for the privilage /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif well actually anything within reason.

Don't worry Jez we wont be kipping in the back of the maser /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I take it you wont be needing transport then....

[/ QUOTE ]
Not sure if that was an offer or a statement????
We need transport to and from the Airport and to and from the show to the hotel on 2 days, so should hopefully keep Southamptons Taxis busy for a couple of days, unless any cars pass our way!! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Hopefully see you there, and i'll buy you a pint.

Cheers

Whenever I am back in high latitudes I stay with boat partners in Lymington - much nicer than staying in or around Southampton!

There are quite a few B & B establishments in and around Lymington and in the New Forest, and it is relatively easy to get into Southampton on the train (although from Lymington you do have to change at Brockenhurst). And there is a courtesy shuttle bus running between the train station and the Show entrance on a regular basis (otherwise it is about 15 minutes walk).
