Is it just me or does anyone else lose access after midnight for at least 15 mins despite trying to log off and on again.

Yes.. I noticed the same about 15 mins ago... It was midnight.

I have also noticed the same on previous evenings.

I thought it might be a timed event like backup time or something....I suppose with a forum open to world users there isn t a time that will not bother someone!

The forums all become unavailable for this peiod.

I haven't tried, but I doubt it will work for this YBW outage. It will contact the site and get a response; it doesn't know it's supposed to be expecting a sailing forum rather than a bit of text, and so it will report success.
