AC tripping fuse

Nothing visual, I thought it was the terminals for all of my units, plus the pump..I have 6 individual units and some are a mare to get too..I thought I might be able to disconnect from this junction, but

you can do this,
easy todo from this box, and the wiring is fairly clear,
(don't forget to disconnect the shore cable before touching the wires !)
but didn't you mention that you have separate breakers for each units ? these should have more or less the same effect, unless fe the pump doesn't have a separate breaker...?

The pump has a separate breaker...I did disconnect them all one side at a time and the rcd still tripped. Not sure of the relevance...but I did get a shock off one of the blue wires...strange as shorepower was disconnected and gennie off at the time.

My logic, Bart, is there might be an earth short - disconnecting the pump/A/C units at their connection completely isolates them.

It would be from a capacitor th breaker won't do the same as disconnecting as it only does the live

So now disconnect all the wire on the right that go to the a.c. units take photo to see when to put back ,insulate them with tape put rcd on if it stays on , turn off and connect one u it at a time in till it trips

I did that and it still tripped, I then reconnected them & disconnected the 2 remaining ac's and it tripped. I then disconnected the finakl 2 terminals and it still tripped

Paul you could try the other end disconnect the out going wires of the rcd then where the wires go next

Yes, I figured out it was upside down...will take a look at the back of the rcd tomorrow.

Thanks for everyones input..so far :)

Update*

Everyone pretty much called it right...at the risk of my dog missing me, I called a sparky out.

Traced it back to the circuit board in the master cabin ac unit.

Has taken away to repair it.

The other ac's are working fine now.

Thanks again to all that helped.
