With the Brittany summer trip on it's way - see post below - I'm now looking for an experienced crew to join me on a September ocean trip to the Acôres. Home port is Amsterdam, boarding 1 September, then a stop in Falmouth to store, shipshape and wait for a nice weather-window for a direct, 10-days passage to Horta.
After some days of whale spotting around the isles, and a crew change, the return leg starts at 15 Sept, hoping to arrive in Amsterdam around 1 Oktober.
The specific need is a crewmember for the leg Acôres>Amsterdam, who will replace Leon Bart - OSTAR veteran who will join us on the outgoing leg.
Boat is a sturdy and comfortable alu Koopmans 44, see pictures.
Call is intended for seasoned sailors with plenty of miles and unquestionable fittness. Shared costs.
