Sorry to take advantage of the forum's good nature but can anybody help?

I'm just about to take my company car off the firm and so I am looking for insurance but having driven a company car for years I have no no-claims bonus.

Anybody got any ideas/info on good insurance deals.

Thanks in anticipation.

I think you'll find most insurers will accept a letter from your employer re previous insurance etc. Seem to remember Direct Line did for swmbo.

letter on company letterheading stating you have had the use of a company car for x years, without claim.

There are a number of companies that will accept that.

PM if you have any problems

GRE are good at reasonable price. Liverpool Victoria aka Frizzell Insurance, down your way. If its a Four wheel drive NFU do great rates. If its high performance look at Peter Best Insurance srvices. I get my Porker insured thru them for 224 quids a year.

I did the same a couple of years ago. Used Saga, saved a fortune on insurance and dead easy.

I agree with tripleace get a letter from employer. As for insurance company I dont think you will beat Direct line. I use them for my Business vehicles and have never had a problem with claims etc.

If you have any trouble with all the above info then use the same Insu Company that your car is insured with now as they will accept that you have acrued 60% no claims bonus and then shift next year at renewal time.
