I need to get my steel boat hull back to bright metal. Does anyone know a mobile abrasive or HP water blasting company thats not too expensive? As its fairly close to a couple of houses I'm thinking water may be better than abrasive, but am I right in thinking this?
I also need to get it painted right away with "red lead" or whatever is used now for steel and if poss would like same mob to do both jobs. If not its me with a roller...
Any/all help greatfully appreciated.

Abrasive blast a steel boat only dry NOT with water as the surface would rust too quick and the increase in temperature when dry blasted will help the epoxy paint to dry better.

procedure I used

1) Blast half of one side. (side 1)
2) Blast opp side while paint side blasted in 1) (side 1)
3) Blast second half of side 1) while painting first side 2
and so on
The more people available the better.

DO NOT blast if you cannot paint and you must finish painting at least 1-2 hours before sun down.
Also check min temperature for epoxy paint

Cannot help with names of blasting people as I am too far away
