about 180 mile of flat seas.

Have a look here, they were taken yesterday, all was missing what about 20 c warmer and it would have been heaven.

Lovely pics PS. Spooky, cos I did the same trip (Essex Boatyards to Soton) almost exactly a year ago, and I also had flat seas the whole way. It must be the place to be, in March :)A few pics of my trip below. The first 4 pics are Essex Marina and Thames Estuary, and 5th pic is beachy head with the top hidden by dense cloud but the bottom in full view. We left at very low tide so when we went into Thames Estuary we were nearly in Denmark before we could turn right :)

How did the Ph48 run? I've never been on one at sea

My second trip from

Essex was in similar weather to your pics.
My first was a running behind and reached Essex in the Dark, not recommended unless you have done your home work, we had but there is an Isolated Danger mark in the channel that is not on any chart or notice to mariners.

The P48 ran very well cruised at 27 ish knots most of the way, averaged when tide turned was 30 knots, you have to love a good spring tide for it pushing power. LOL

Nice boat close quarter too, but like all fly-bridges if left unmonitored will drift with only a slight wind. Bit difficult to tell what she would be like in the rough stuff as we could not find any. !!! but expect her to be a lady and not throw you around.
