Abingdon Lock closed

Just received from EA :

16/09/2012* 1800HRS* Abingdon Lock is currently closed to all river traffic.

A damaged sluice operating rod on the tail lock gates is preventing the lock operation.

EA Divers are expected to repair the damage on Monday morning

Now fixed - notice received at 0945 this morning.

Thanks for the update. By the way, do you receive special info from the EA or do I just need to find a web page beyond the river conditions one which shows red boards etc?
