Aberaeron moorings

Does anyone know how much moorings are in Aberaeron West Wales per year, I have a 14' CJR if anyone can help please

what the council will fleece us with next year for a mooring in what is basically a hole in the ground that fills with water twice a day and their avoidance of providing any facilities apart from the ‘cross chains’ your guess is as good as mine but using this year (2012) as a guide it worked out at about £56 per meter between April 1st and October 31st (about £480 for an 8m boat for the Summer season) and half that for either Winter mooring or on land storage between Nov 1st and March 31st.

That seems like yearly prices anywhere else, as you say for a hole in the ground

Also be aware that several insurance companies are now a bit cautious of insuring boats in Aberaeron, it hasn’t got a good record as far as boat damage/ loss is concerned especially after storm Callum in 2018.
Not sure what the waiting list is like as since our last harbourmaster resigned (a great loss he was brilliant) no-one seems to know anything.
