A12/A120 Planned Roadworks

For anybody like me travelling in direction of Walton on the Naze, from M25/M11/A120/A12/A120, or M25/A12 & A120 beyond Colchester.

Three months of some 24 hour weekend closures, some 8pm-6am, from early January. I can do A12 or A120, but it seems these will get you both ways.

Cor, that's going to be fun! I'll keep well away! Time to get your maps out and plot a different route. Going to Walton the Wix works shouldn't get you and you might miss the Bromley ones. The Braintree to Colchester section of the A120 could be fun, have you seen the amount of traffic there in the rush hour?
On a slightly different tack, our local paper was reporting that there was going to be a consultation for a new route for the A120 between Braintree and the A12. Don't hold your breath though!

I know all too well where all those places are. They are on my daily commute from Suffolk to London.
