A whale in the Orwell!

Just heard on BBC Essex that there is a northern bottlenose by the Orwell Bridge. It is hoped that HW in a couple of hours might encourage it to swim out again. This is the same type as was in the Thames last year.

Let's hope this one survives.

A sad ending unfortunately.

The whale has been put to sleep by vets as it was likely to starve or dehydrate.
