A virgin f*****g

Oh I am quite a gourmet. Sorry, I mean quite a f****** gourmet, and so am very f******* keen on this.

Part of the fun is that all the otherwise borin cooky types in ones familly - have to watch him swear his head off! So it is v popular instead of prim and proper champions league chat and other bland tv progs...

One question...

Just one question for all you prim and proper types - what's so offensive about the word "flaming"?

Yes I do. The fact that he is Scottish and has been a footballer may have been instumental in his choice language.
Oh, and maybe that he is a chef.
Do you notice that no-one in the kitchens he visits flinches when he swears?

If you don't like swearing why use "F*****g" and if you do swear why use "sh1te" when you can use shite?

You're not going to tell me it's OK for you when you choose, but you don't want it on your TV in your lounge. Please don't say that.

I like the programmes because he is not a PC arsehole and he actually knows what he is talking about and really knows how to get people on his side. Shock tactics maybe, but he is very good at what he does. The fact that some numb-nuts revert to the route-to-destruction after he leaves is not his problem. Some people you just can't help.

[/ QUOTE ] Of course you are dear.
But so am I. You asked if anyone watched it, and I do. You thought it was shite and used some nearly word, and I asked why you didn't use the word you meant. You said you do swear. But not on the evidence of your posting.

I don't think the programme is shite.

He'd have a bugger of a job defending himself should anyone want to take him to a tribunal for constructive dismissal methinks /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
