I've just returned from a very pleasant trip. Nothing great on the face of it, just a trip down the Medway to Queenboro', over night stop and return with the wife and a couple of non-boaty friends. Wind was westerly, so sailed down under gib alone (6.5knts), rafted up against a friend in Q'boro creek, trip ashore to the Flying Dutchman pub for grub, back to the boat for a scotch (or 2), liesurely breakfast (bacon, sausage, eggs etc) and return under power to mooring at MYC, lunch aboard (Frey Bentos, tin pots etc), then home.
Very nice! and welcome.
