WHEN the cabin port-holes are dark and green
Because of the seas outside;
When the ship goes wop (with a wiggle between)
And the steward falls into the soup-tureen,
And the trunks begin to slide;
When Nursey lies on the floor in a heap,
And Mummy tells you to let her sleep,
And you aren’t waked or washed or dressed,
Why, then you will know (if you haven’t guessed)
You’re “Fifty North and Forty West!”

Rudyard Kipling

Great site and graphics Dylan. 960mb.. A US Navy offering,right?
Looks like Uk will be building high pressure all week so no changes of underwear required just yet..

Just spoke to a KLM flight overflying and using BGBW as a tech diversion, he asked for the present weather just incase of tech diversion, presently vis of 8000mtr in driving snow and a wind of 65 kts.

Paul.

Yes, best seen from the air. I see that Sonderstrom is quieter though right now. I've only ever been there in the simulator.

Hopefully the KLM is not planning to go either......he is obviouslly operating under an ETOPS ruling and needs to check diversions before setting course over the water.

Paul.

Eek....

Thats not a weather forecast you'd want to see when planning a weekend on the water........

[/ QUOTE ]I'd sooner see the forecast than miss it and get the weather! I really don't think Jissel would approve. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Definitely challenges the contention that there's no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing...
